Poverty and Displacement

There are now more refugees than has ever been before in our lifetime history. The number is estimated to be above 70 million people who have forcebly flee from their home. Of the 70 million refugees, more than 50% are children and are the most displaced.

7 children out of 10 are more luckily drop out of school to find themselves in market, to help their parent, only to be able to put food on their table, while staying busy looking for ways to survive, they are missing out education, an opportunity that can enable them to become more sustainable in the future.

The main issue leading to poverty in developing  and underdeveloping country is war and displacement. leading to an unstable life, hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition. For many children living without system or family support, the future is with no hope at all.

IUCHR wants to make a difference in their lives by focussing on children while assisting families to resettle and create a more sustainable life.
