Advocacy

Become an advocator

It is a privilege for IUCHR to advocat children’s rights and various others humanitarian crisis

Promoting human rights, advocating for  poor and displaced communities. Making an impact through advocacy.

Advocacy is the active promotion and support of a cause, idea, or policy, particularly with the goal of creating or effecting change on behalf of displaced people living in war zones at all levels, from national to global.

Extreme poverty in Africa often leads to hunger and malnutrition. More than 319 million people in sub-Saharan Africa lack access to safe drinking water, and over 226.7 million people are suffering from food insecurity and malnutrition.

One in four children in the region is undernourished, and suffers from growth disorders. As a result, approximately 3.1 million children under the age of five die from related causes each year. The average life expectancy for adults in sub-Saharan Africa is only 61 years, and the region has the highest rate of malnutrition in the world. The average annual income in sub-Saharan Africa is just $303, or about $2 per day, making it difficult for people in the region to access sufficient food and nutrition. It is unjust to ignore these facts and watch an entire generation fall into poverty and suffering.

It imperative that we do something to change the way thing have always been, and start shaping a new course of action to balance the odds.

Why it matter

Advocate

Children are an invaluable part of our nation and have a crucial role to play in shaping the future. It is important that we actively support their positive growth and development in order to help them reach their full potential and thrive. This includes providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to learn and grow, as well as protecting their rights and promoting their well-being. By investing in the well-being of children, we can build a stronger, more vibrant society for all.

“I want to feel safe in my community and neighborhood. When I’m going to school or fetching water, I need to be safe.”

– Safi, a child from the Democratic Republic of Congo

Like Safi, many children living in war zones do not always feel safe in their communities. They may be exposed to violence, danger, and insecurity on a daily basis. All they want is to feel safe and protected, as well as to see their families and communities thrive. It is our responsibility to advocate for the safety and well-being of children like Safi and work towards creating more peaceful and secure environments for them to grow up in.

We are an organization of genuine individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the world and improving the lives of others. We also strive to contribute to the success of future generations. To be this kind of organization, we need to share our values, beliefs, and passion with like-minded individuals who also want to make a difference in the lives of others.

We cannot achieve our goals without the support of people like you who are committed to helping and serving others. We value your dedication and appreciate your willingness to join us on this journey. Thank you for your time and support.

By working together and supporting each other, we can achieve more with IUCHR and bring about positive change in the world. Unity is a powerful force that can bring about transformative change and create a more united and compassionate society.
